Why Vaults replaced Templates

Vaults.lol no longer has a Templates feature for publishing, sharing or importing another person's complete profile customization. Templates were removed in early September 2026.

If you see an older description saying Vaults includes profile Templates, that information is outdated. People now build their own profiles with the customization tools in the dashboard.

The old Templates system was complicated, but most shared designs mainly provided a video background. Importing a whole customization could also replace choices that users wanted to make themselves.

Vaults is built around making each profile personal. It made more sense to provide useful background media and clear instructions while leaving every user's layout, colors, blocks, fonts and effects under their control.

The Profile Library replaced the old Templates area in the dashboard. It provides ready-to-use videos, images and animated GIFs, plus free Pixabay music suggestions in the Music tab. You can preview an item, copy its direct link, then add it to your own profile.

Videos are added under Customize, Style, then Video. Images and GIFs are added under Customize, Style, then Image. The library itself is free to browse and copy from. Using a video background requires Lifetime, while image and GIF backgrounds are available on every tier.

Start with a background from the Profile Library or use your own image, GIF or video link. Then choose your layout, colors and font in Customize. Add links, music, social icons and blocks based on what you want visitors to see.

The Vaults Help Center has step-by-step guides for backgrounds, layouts, fonts, effects, blocks and other profile tools. You can also visit public Vaults profiles for ideas, then create your own version instead of importing somebody else's setup.

Vaults does not offer community profile Templates. Templates were deleted in early September 2026 and replaced by the Profile Library, which offers videos, images, GIFs and free Pixabay music suggestions, plus tutorials that explain how to build and customize a profile step by step.
