What happened in Vaults.lol update 8.0
Update 8.0 brings Discord Presence, dashboard languages, 21, Prestige, redesigned social icons and badges, and more profile improvements.
What arrived in update 8.0
Update 8.0 brings a new Discord Presence widget, 11 dashboard languages, the 21 game, Prestige progression, redesigned social icons and badges, new profile effects and videos, and a collection of smaller fixes. You can explore the new settings from your dashboard and read the individual guides linked below for more detail.
Show your Discord presence on your profile
Discord Presence is a widget for your public profile. It can show the status and activities that Discord shares, including games and their artwork, your Discord avatar, badges and status indicator. When available through Discord, it can also show a Spotify track. If you are offline, the widget can show when you were last seen.
To set it up, open Customize and choose Discord Presence. Add your Discord User ID and choose what you want to show. Your activity can only appear if Discord makes it available through its presence feed, so a song or game that is visible to you in Discord may not always be shared publicly.
Choose from 11 dashboard languages
The globe button beside the developer log bell lets you choose English, Spanish, Brazilian Portuguese, French, German, Italian, Dutch, Polish, Turkish, Russian or Swedish. English is the default. Once you choose a language, your browser remembers it.
This changes the dashboard's own labels, buttons and instructions, not other people's profiles or the content you write. Usernames, badge and tier names, game names, Type Rush passages, admin pages, inbox requests and chats stay as they are. Read the dashboard languages guide for the full breakdown.
Play 21 solo or with friends
21 has joined Vaults Games. Play solo, or create a private table and invite friends with a room code. A table can seat up to four players. It uses six decks and European rules, with playing-card faces and pips, animated dealing and flips, shuffles, win effects and adjustable sound.
Wins earn Games XP. An ordinary win earns 25 XP, a doubled win earns 50 XP, a two-card 21 earns 40 XP, and every third consecutive win adds a 25 XP bonus. Players at a shared table take turns, with a 30-second turn timer. Your session XP and level appear with your seat so friends can follow along.
Prestige after level 50
At level 50, you can choose Prestige from the Games page or the Progression page. A confirmation explains the change before it happens. Your level returns to 1, but the badges, ranks and rewards you earned stay unlocked. You do not unlock those ranks again on the way back up.
After prestiging, each level takes 25 XP instead of the original progression requirements. Your level can rise to 10,000, where it stops even if you continue earning XP. Prestige does not increase the XP awarded for a game. A small fire effect identifies your prestige level in Games, Progression, 21 and on your profile. The prestige guide explains the rules in detail.
Profile effects, videos and layout changes
Red Cats is a free background effect with small running and sleeping cats. Four more clips have been added to the Profile Library, which is also used by the step-by-step setup walkthrough. Bubbles are smaller, and each page of a multi-page profile can now have its own avatar. Your first page's avatar remains the primary one used elsewhere, including in games.
Bordered profiles now place equipped badges beside the display name. The username, wide labels such as Supporter and the bio follow in order, without partner logos pushing them down. Social icons across layouts have lost their background and border, sit closer together and carry a subtle glow. The Socials glow setting makes it stronger, and Other customization now has a separate Badges glow setting.
Where to explore the update
Open Customize for Discord Presence, profile effects, colors and Badges glow. Open Games to play 21 and check your Prestige eligibility. Use the globe in your dashboard to switch languages, or visit Profile Library to browse the new clips. For individual changes as they ship, follow the public changelog at https://vaults.lol/changelog.
