Three things to check before reporting it.

URL is valid
Paste the YouTube or Vimeo URL into a new tab. Does it open the video? If not, the URL is wrong.
Video is public
Private or unlisted videos with strict embed rules won't play. Set the video to Public or unlisted with embedding enabled.
