How to add a link to your Instagram bio

Open Instagram and go to your profile. Tap Edit profile, then tap Links, then Add external link. Paste your URL, add a short title if you want, and tap the checkmark. The link now shows on your profile under your bio text.

Instagram currently allows up to 5 links in this section. On desktop you can do the same from the Edit profile page.

Five bare URLs with auto-generated titles look like a list of chores, and most visitors tap none of them. A single bio link page lets you present the same destinations with your own design, order them by importance, and see which ones people actually click.

It also means you never have to edit your Instagram bio again when a link changes. You update the page, and the link in your bio stays the same.

Claim a username at vaults.lol and add your links, socials, music and whatever else you want on the page. Then paste your profile URL into Instagram's link field.

For Instagram specifically, the vaults.bio domain reads cleaner in a professional bio. vaults.bio/yourname redirects to the same page, so you can use whichever looks better next to your name.

Put your most important destination first on the page, keep the page fast on mobile data, and mention the link in your posts and stories so people know it is there. A link nobody is told about gets no clicks.
