Vaults ranks explained
The metallic rank tiers on Vaults.lol Games, how you climb them, and where your rank shows up.
What a rank is
Your rank is the title that sits on top of your level. Levels go up one at a time, ranks change less often, so a rank up is the bigger moment of the two.
Each rank has its own metallic mark rather than a plain coloured dot, and the marks get more elaborate the higher you climb. The top tier is Mythic.
How you rank up
Ranks are tied directly to your level, and your level is tied to XP. Keep playing, keep earning XP, and the rank comes on its own. There is no separate ranked queue to grind and no season reset that wipes your progress.
What a rank up looks like
Rank ups get the biggest celebration in Games. You get a full animation showing the new rank and the XP that carried you there, and it waits its turn behind any level up or achievement popup so you do not miss it.
Where your rank shows
Your rank sits on the Progression page next to your level and XP bar. If you turn on profile progression, visitors see your level with your metallic rank mark on your public page.
Some rank milestones also unlock permanent badges, and those stay on your account whatever you do afterwards.
Is this the same as the Vault Sigil
No. The Vault Sigil is a completely separate system that grows by returning every 24 hours. Your Games rank and your Sigil level never affect each other.
