The About me block on Vaults.lol, a photo card that opens to your story
About me is a free block with your own image, heading and text. It sits on your profile as a slim card and opens into a full card when visitors click it.
What the About me block is
About me lets you tell visitors more than a short bio fits. On your profile it shows as a slim, wide card with a small version of your image, your heading, a short line and an Open button, about the size of the Discord presence widget or the music player.
When someone clicks it, it opens into a full card with your image at the top and your whole text below it. Visitors close it with the Close button.
How to add it
Open Dashboard, then Customize, and go to Blocks. Click Add a block and pick About me in the Showcase category, right next to Favorites.
The heading says About me by default, and you can change it to anything. You can also add a short line under the heading, and write up to 2000 characters of text.
Choosing your image
Click Choose image and pick a photo from your device. A crop window opens so you can frame it before it uploads. The recommended size is 1000 x 640 px, and the same image is used for the small thumbnail and the big opened card.
Use the Preview button next to your text to see exactly how the opened card will look before visitors do.
Layouts and animations
About me works on every layout and can be moved like any other block. On Float it always uses the same frosted glass as the Discord and social widgets.
If you use Elements entrance, the About me card animates in with the rest of your profile. The block is free for every account.
