How to claim your username
Pick the handle that becomes your public URL, and lock it in.
Pick your username
Your username becomes the last part of your profile URL. If you pick crispy, your page will live at vaults.lol/crispy. Usernames are three to twenty characters, lowercase letters, numbers, underscores or hyphens.
Claim it during signup
On the signup screen you type the username you want, a password, and optionally enable two factor authentication. The page goes live the moment you finish signup.
If a username is taken you'll see a quick message. Pick another and try again.
What if my username gets taken
Usernames are first come first served. If someone has the handle you want and they are an active Lifetime or Supporter member, it is theirs to keep. Inactive accounts that never customized anything can be reclaimed over time so the username pool stays healthy.
