How to set a GIF as your profile picture
Animated avatars work and look great. Here's how.

Use a hosted GIF URL
Upload your GIF to a free image host like Imgur, Catbox or Tenor. Copy the direct image URL, ending in .gif.
Paste it into Vaults
In Customize, open the avatar block and paste the URL. The GIF animates automatically.
Tip
Keep GIFs short and small. A two megabyte loop is plenty. Massive GIFs make the page heavier and slower for visitors on mobile.
