How to get a clickable link in your Discord bio
Discord does not render clickable URLs in the About Me field. Here is the real workaround using a single short Vaults link.
Why Discord bio links are not clickable
Discord's About Me field is plain text. Even if you paste a full https URL, the desktop and mobile clients render it as static text, not a link. This is a deliberate Discord choice to reduce phishing inside profile cards, and there is no setting that turns it on.
The Connections section (Twitter, Steam, YouTube and a few others) is the only place Discord renders an outbound, clickable destination natively, and it is limited to the platforms Discord ships support for.
The fix, one short vaults.lol link
Put a single short URL in your About Me, like vaults.lol/yourname. People who tap and hold on mobile, or right click on desktop, can copy it in one move. The URL is short enough to retype if someone is reading it off a screen.
Behind that one link, your Vaults page holds every destination you actually want to share: Twitch, YouTube, TikTok, Spotify, your Discord server invite, your shop, your portfolio. You update it any time without touching Discord.
Step by step
1. Sign up at vaults.lol and claim the username you want. Free.
2. Open the Links page in the dashboard and add every link you want people to find.
3. Copy your profile URL, vaults.lol/yourname.
4. In Discord, open User Settings, Profile, then paste the URL into About Me and save.
Tips for gamers and community owners
Pin the same vaults.lol link in your Discord server's welcome channel. New members get to your socials, schedule, and shop in one place instead of scrolling pinned messages.
If you stream, put the same link in your Twitch and YouTube panels so viewers landing from any platform end up on the same hub.
Why this works better than other workarounds
Discord status, custom status, role color tricks and Nitro banners do not produce clickable URLs either. A bio link page is the only path that actually opens a browser when someone taps it.
Vaults is free, has no monthly fee, supports username plus password signup with no email, and lets you customize how the page looks so it fits your community.
