What Dash is

Dash is a fast side scrolling platformer inside Vaults Games, at vaults.lol/dashboard/games. Your avatar rolls forward on its own and you only decide when to go up.

It is built in the spirit of Geometry Dash: neon colours, moving backgrounds, spikes, platforms and speed that keeps climbing. Hitting a spike, running into the front of a platform or clipping a corridor wall ends the run instantly.

Cube, ship and wave

You start as the cube, which jumps when you press and lands under real gravity. Holding the button makes it jump again the moment it touches down.

Transformation portals switch you into ship or wave. The ship flies up while you hold and falls while you let go. The wave moves in straight diagonals, up while held and down while released, with no momentum at all. A form stays active until you reach the next transformation portal, and portals only appear where the mode is actually changing.

Every map is random

There is no fixed level. Spikes, double spikes, raised platforms, stair sequences and the mode sections are generated fresh for every single run, so nobody can memorise a layout and no two runs are the same.

Speed increases roughly every six seconds, so the same patterns get harder the longer you last.

How XP is counted in Dash

Dash scores in seconds survived. You need at least 10 seconds for a run to pay anything.

The run XP is 1.2 XP per second survived, up to 400 for the run. There is no daily XP limit on Dash, so play as often as you like.

The server tracks your survival independently while you play, so the saved score is what the server verified, not what the page claimed. Long ship or wave stretches and slow connections do not cost you the run.

Sound and effects

Dash has background music that starts when you press start, mode specific effects for jumps and landings, and a crash sound when you die. The run over card shows your score, your high score and a retry button.

How it fits the rest of Vaults

Dash feeds the same XP pool as Type Rush and Flight. There is one level, one rank and one badge set across all of Vaults Games, so it does not matter which game you prefer.
