Rooms are invite only. Each room has a random 6 character key like ABC-123 that you hand out to the people you want in the chat. Nothing is listed publicly.

Yes. Vaults.lol chats run browser to browser over WebRTC with DTLS/SRTP encryption. Vaults.lol servers only introduce two browsers to each other and never receive or store message contents.

Close the tab and the conversation is gone. There is no message database on Vaults.lol.
