How XP works on Vaults Games

You earn XP by finishing games. Every finished race gives you a base amount, and then bonuses are added for how fast and how accurately you played.

Solo games count too. Playing alone earns real XP, it is not practice mode, so you never have to wait for other people to make progress.

In a multiplayer race, your finishing position matters. First place earns the most, second and third earn a bit less, and everyone who finishes still earns something.

The gap is deliberately small. Winning should feel worth it without making everyone else feel like they wasted their time.

Playing the same game over and over still earns XP, but grinding the exact same result again and again gives a little less each time. The system rewards actually improving rather than repeating one easy run forever.

Your score and your XP are worked out by our servers, not by your browser. That means a slower computer never costs you XP, and there is no way to hand yourself a score you did not earn.

Races that look impossible are held back for review instead of being paid out automatically.

XP raises your level. Your level decides your rank. Certain levels, ranks and milestones unlock permanent badges that appear on the Badges page ready to equip.
