Templates on Vaults

How the community templates page works, what is safe to import, and how templates never touch your identity.

What a template is

A Vaults template is a complete design snapshot of a profile. It captures the theme, the layout, the font, the background (including video backgrounds), background effects, cursor, enter animation, and any design-only settings like page scale, opacity, username effect and colors. Everything visual, nothing personal.

What a template never touches

Importing a template never changes your links, your social icons, your display name, your username, your bio, your avatar, your location or your badges. Those are yours forever. A template only restyles the shell of your profile, it never edits your content.

How to import a template

Open the dashboard, go to Templates, and browse the community grid. Click Preview to see it running with your own name and links, or click Import to apply it to your current page. Templates are anonymous, so you never see who submitted them and they never see who imported them.

If a template uses features your tier does not have (video background, premium font, supporter cursor), you will see a Locked chip. Importing still works, but the locked features fall back to the closest free version until you upgrade.

Video templates and MP4 backgrounds

The templates at the top of the grid use real video backgrounds embedded from third party hosts. These are Lifetime tier because we want to keep the free tier fast for everyone. The video streams from the host, we never store it, and it plays inline on your profile with a subtle grain overlay by default.

Tiers

Free templates work for any account. Lifetime templates require the €5 one time Lifetime unlock. Supporter templates require the €9.99 one time Supporter tier, which also includes Lifetime. You can preview any template regardless of tier before you decide.

Per page templates

If you use multi page profiles, each page can run its own template. Applying a template while editing Page 2 only styles Page 2. Page 1 and any other pages keep whatever they were using before.
