How we keep the free tier free
Most bio link tools (Linktree, bio.link, Beacons) make money on subscriptions. They have to, because they host every image, every video, every visit on their own infrastructure. That bandwidth costs them money every month, so they need recurring revenue to cover it.
Vaults took a different path. Instead of hosting heavy media, we embed external URLs (YouTube for video, Imgur for images, Soundcloud for audio).
